Viva Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas’ entertainment industry united in unprecedented fashion in support of the victims of the October 1 tragedy on Friday, December 1, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Vegas Strong Benefit Concert featured Las Vegas headliners Boyz II Men, Cirque du Soleil, David Copperfield, Imagine Dragons, Penn & Teller and The Killers, along with comedian Jay Leno and Bryce Harper, Washington Nationals outfielder and Las Vegas native, in an unprecedented fundraising event benefiting the Las Vegas Victims Fund.

Harper said, “I was born and raised in Las Vegas, and my pride for this great city runs deep. In the wake of this terrible event, the world has seen what I’ve always known to be true: how strong our city is and what a tight-knit, supportive community we have. I’m proud to be a part of the Vegas Strong benefit to support and honor those impacted by this tragedy and the city that I love.”

“Las Vegas is our home, and it’s an incredible, tight-knit community.  The world has seen the resilience, unity and heart of the city this last month,” said Imagine Dragons. “This show is about raising money to help those impacted by the tragedy and about experiencing the healing that comes from gathering to celebrate the bonds we share.”
