LAS VEGAS -- On Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, casino owners and developers Derek and Greg Stevens hosted a public unveiling surrounding their highly anticipated Downtown Las Vegas casino resort project called Circa Resort & Casino, a brand-new integrated gaming resort in Downtown Las Vegas, slated to open in December 2020. Circa will be the first ground-up resort development on Fremont Street since 1980. The project as well as the neon sign for Circa were unveiled at the Downtown Event Center with Derek Stevens and Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman hosting the event.
Circa will offer 777 rooms, a range of eclectic restaurants, an outdoor bar, and a two-level casino. Circa will also offer several signature elements including a multi-level, stadium-style sportsbook; a multi-tiered pool amphitheater; and what is dubbed "Garage Mahal," a parking structure designed with ride-sharing in mind. And finally, it will be the new home for the iconic neon sign "Vegas Vicky."
