Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Reopens
Caesars Entertainment, Inc. recently celebrated resumption of operations at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, as its final property to reopen company-wide in the U.S. and Canada, following the COVID-19 pandemic. The hotel will accommodate weekend stays, Thursday through Monday, while the gaming floor will be open seven days a week. The resumption of business at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino follows the successful reopening of all Caesars regional casinos and hotels across the country, in addition to the Company’s other Las Vegas properties. Additionally, Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino debuted the newly branded William Hill Sports Book on reopening day, with new customer offerings that include self-service sports betting kiosks and an expanded betting menu featuring LIVE InPlay Wagering. Circa Resort & Casino Debuts Hotel Tower & Legacy Club Rooftop Lounge
Circa Resort & Casino – downtown Las Vegas’ newest casino-resort – has officially opened its 777-room hotel tower and rooftop lounge, Legacy Club. Paying tribute to Vintage Vegas through its design and old-school hospitality, these new amenities mark the official completion of Circa’s construction. Built in collaboration with McCarthy Building Companies Inc., Tré Builders, Steelman Partners and Circa’s Director of Design and Architecture, Alice O’Keefe, Circa’s uniquely tapered 71-degree tower provides some of the best unobstructed views of the city. David Chang’s Bāng Bar to Debut at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is pleased to introduce Bāng Bar, an original concept from Momofuku and David Chang, to the Las Vegas market with the establishment's newest location opening at Block 16 Urban Food Hall in Spring 2021. Bāng Bar’s menu focuses on delectable spit-roasted meats wrapped in freshly griddled bāng bread, bringing a bold, first-to-market culinary experience for guests to enjoy. Bāng Bar will serve new and decidedly different take-out lunch and dinner options for guests of the resort. Since opening in New York in 2018, Bang Bar has focused on two delicious staples: bāng bread and spit-roasted meats. X Burlesque “Private Edition” opening at Flamingo Las Vegas

The Mob Museum Announces Major Acquisition of Two Rare Artifacts
The Mob Museum, The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement announces the acquisition of two rare artifacts which will be displayed temporarily through January 10, 2021 on the second floor of the Museum. The new artifacts provide fascinating insights into the origins of the Flamingo Hotel and the Mob’s role in building modern Las Vegas. They will be on permanent display beginning later in 2021. The first artifact is an authentic, two-page legal document signed by Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel and dated March 19, 1947, which formally removed William R. “Billy” Wilkerson from any involvement with the Flamingo Hotel. The second is the original check Wilkerson wrote as a down payment to purchase the land on which the Flamingo would be built. LVCVA Acquires Assets of Las Vegas Monorail Company
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) recently closed on its transaction to acquire the assets of the Las Vegas Monorail Company, preserving an important transportation option in Las Vegas and ensuring it can operate in the coming years. The transaction also allows for other transportation options on the east side of Las Vegas Boulevard by eliminating the non-compete area around the monorail system. It further paves the way for the Boring Company’s underground tunnel, the Vegas Loop, to be constructed throughout the destination following the LVCVA Board of Directors approval on December 10 to waive the monorail’s non-compete zone. Grand Canal Shoppes Brings Augmented Reality Experience to The Wishing Tree
Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, the ultimate luxury shopping, dining and entertainment destination on the Las Vegas Strip, recently unveiled a magical new experience for guests at The Wishing Tree, a one-of-a-kind art installation located in the epicenter of the retail level inside The Palazzo Tower. Guests will be able to unlock the magic and add a personal wish to the Wishing Tree by scanning a nearby QR code with their smartphone. This will open an Instagram filter where a guest can use the voice-activated technology to say their wish and then watch it magnificently transport itself to the carefully constructed canopy of the Wishing Tree to live virtually amongst all the other wishes.
