Backstreet Boys Return to Las Vegas for “A Very Backstreet Christmas Party”
The Backstreet Boys, one of the best-selling bands of all time, are returning to the Las Vegas Strip with “A Very Backstreet Christmas Party,” a series of 12 holiday shows at Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino this November and December. Trumpeter and Vocalist Brian Newman Returns to NoMad Las Vegas with Late-Night Show
Trumpeter and singer Brian Newman will bring his late-night show Brian Newman: AFTER DARK, back to NoMad Las Vegas for six performances this summer. Newman will perform at the NoMad Library August 12 – 14 and August 19 – 21 with all shows scheduled to begin at 11:30 p.m. Previously serving as the bandleader for the LADY GAGA JAZZ & PIANO resident show at Park Theater, Newman designed Brian Newman: AFTER DARK as an ode to vintage Las Vegas, creating a late-night rendezvous filled with great music and good friends. The Sand Dollar Lounge to Open at the Plaza Hotel & Casino
The Sand Dollar Lounge will open a second location inside the Plaza Hotel & Casino this fall, bringing to downtown Las Vegas a venue dedicated to late-night live music and entertainment. In 1976, the Sand Dollar Blues Bar opened its doors. Some of the greatest blues legends, as well as many other famous musicians, graced its stage for more than 30 years, like Muddy Waters, B.B. King, and even Mick Jagger. In 2007, the Sand Dollar Blues Bar closed its doors, but it was resurrected in 2009, when The Sand Dollar Lounge opened on Spring Mountain Road honoring the tradition and history of the iconic Vegas venue. Caesars Palace Unveils Plans for Multimillion-Dollar Main Entrance Renovation

Wrangler NFR Payout Climbs to Record $13.3 Million in 2021

The Venetian Resort Announces The Summit Showroom
The Venetian Resort recently announced The Summit Showroom will be the new name for the Sands Showroom, the famed performance venue at the iconic Las Vegas resort. The Summit Showroom pays homage to the “Summit at the Sands” series of performances by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop and Peter Lawford, held during the 1960 filming of the movie “Ocean’s 11.” Over a 21-day period, the movie’s five stars performed on stage together at the Sands, which was considered to be the birth of the Rat Pack. The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas to Open on December 1
Las Vegas Events recently announced The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas will open on Wednesday, Dec. 1 – one day earlier than originally scheduled – from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. PST for a special preview shopping experience and official tree lighting. Schedules Announced for Vegas Golden Knights and Henderson Silver Knights
The Vegas Golden Knights announced the full schedule for the 2021-22 regular season. The team will open their fifth season against the newest NHL team, the Seattle Kraken at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Vegas’ first road game will be two days later at the Los Angeles Kings on October 14, 2021. The 2022 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend will take place in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena on Feb. 4-5. The 2022 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend will include the 2022 NHL All-Star Skills™ on Friday, Feb. 4, and the 2022 Honda NHL All-Star Game on Saturday, Feb. 5, and will feature various hockey-themed events, entertainment and activities. Additionally, the Henderson Silver Knights announced the full 68-game schedule for the 2021-22 regular season. The Silver Knights will start the season playing at the Orleans Arena on Friday, October 15 vs. the Colorado Eagles.
