Las Vegas Continues to the Take Top Spot Among Trade Show Destinations
Las Vegas maintains its long-standing reputation as the leading destination for business travel. For the 23rd consecutive year, Las Vegas was named the country’s No. 1 trade show destination according to the Trade Show News Network (TSNN) “2016 TSNN Top 250 Trade Shows in the United States” list. According to the list, Las Vegas hosted 57 of the largest shows held in the country last year. LVCVA Board Votes on NASCAR
Las Vegas Motor Speedway will hold a pair of aces next year as the 1.5-mile superspeedway doubles down with a second Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race for the 2018 season and beyond. The speedway made the announcement at a joint news conference with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority at Cashman Center Wednesday, March 8, just two days before the green flag drops on its 2017 NASCAR weekend. The Mob Museum Announces Improvement Project
The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, announced plans to make substantial capital improvements to the Museum beginning in early 2017. While construction is underway, the Museum will remain open. Improvements will encompass additional exhibits, interactive venues and a brand-new integrated retail and food service experience developed with the Museum’s long-term partner Event Network. Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group Las Vegas to Launch Guest Chef Dinner Series April 1
The Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group (B&BHG) in Las Vegas is launching its first guest chef dinner series beginning Saturday, April 1. The dinner will take place at Carnevino Italian Steakhouse at The Palazzo. B&BHG will host dinners throughout the year. New $15M Corporate Social Event Venue Opens in Las Vegas
Enclave, a $15 million high-tech corporate and social event venue located a mile from McCarran International Airport, has officially opened a year after breaking ground. The launch of Enclave comes as Las Vegas attracts a record number of visitors to the city for tourism and business, pushing up rates for meeting and event spaces. The 75,000 square-foot multi-purpose venue has 22 rooms of various sizes and functions, including ballrooms, conference rooms, dressing rooms and a bridal room.
