Tony Bennett, who was the second performer to ever appear at the Circus Maximus Showroom in 1966 and in 1969 was the first and only entertainer ever offered a lifetime contract to perform at Caesars Palace, headlined the evening. The gala also featured appearances by current Caesars Entertainment headliners including; Wayne Newton, Donny and Marie Osmond, Matt Goss and The Righteous Brothers. Honorees for the evening included Gordon Ramsay, the Jay Sarno Family, the Knievel Family, Larry Ruvo and more.
The culture icon that is "Donnie & Marie" was actually born at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The sibling duo explain, (despite the distraction of Donnie getting goosed by Bill Medley.)
