LAUGHLIN, Nev. -- As part of her first major North America tour in 25 years, music and entertainment icon Dolly Parton performed at the Laughlin Event Center on Friday, Sept. 30. The most honored female country performer of all time, Parton dazzled fans with a larger-than-life performance of her numerous chart-topping classics such as “Jolene,” “9 to 5,” “I Will Always Love You” and more for the "Pure and Simple" tour performance. Dolly performed her hit songs while weaving in a few new songs from her new double-disc album “Pure & Simple with Dolly’s Biggest Hits.”
Spanning four decades, Parton’s singing career has earned her 25 RIAA certified gold, platinum and multi-platinum records, 25 No. 1 songs on the Billboard Country music charts, and more than 100 million records sold worldwide. The country legend has also been honored with seven GRAMMYs, 10 Country Music Association Awards, five Academy of Country Music Awards, three American Music Awards as well as induction into numerous Halls of Fame, including the GRAMMY, Songwriters, Music City Walk and Country Music.
